This photo of a remarkable heritage wall shelters a fine garden on Skólavörðustigur. The wall was built by a (female) minister of Hallgrimskirkju (Rekjavik‘s most prominent landmark). It came to me via Canada sent by Dr.Sandy Robertson.

Hello Norman. Hope the DS Festival in Canada was fun for you. Just wanted to confess, I stole this Icelandic wall image to put on the Stonemad forum. Hope you are ok with that, I added a link to your blog.
All the best. tracey.
What a lovely, strange wee wall. Is that wee houses along it?!!
