Making the best of a dreadful tragedy
This is Leanach farm house. It was close to the centre of the battle on Culloden moor, a defeat which led to the destruction of the clan system in the Highlands of Scotland.

Norman - this is one of the lovliest cottages I've ever seen - very steep pitched roof and thatched partly with bracken? Is it open to public viewing? Thanks for posting - I'll make a point of visiting here next in Scotland.
